Token scope and funding model

The RMP token is designed to fund long-term development and operations without introducing capital-based control over the protocol. It is intentionally narrow in what it enables.

Core facts

  • • Fixed total supply: 250,000,000
  • • Issued at genesis
  • • No inflation at launch
  • • No mint authority
  • • Intended use: infrastructure & development funding

What the token does not grant

  • • Governance power
  • • Council access
  • • Messaging privileges
  • • Emergency authority

Holding RMP tokens is not required to use messaging or identity features.

Transparency

All sales and token issuance are verifiable on-chain.

RMP purchases are delivered on-chain to your RMP address. You can connect either a desktop wallet extension or a mobile wallet (recommended).

This option is best if you’re buying from a desktop computer and already use Polkadot ecosystem wallets.

Option B: Mobile (Nova Wallet via WalletConnect)

  1. Install Nova Wallet on your phone.
  2. Create or import a wallet in Nova Wallet.
  3. Add our RPC endpoint in Nova (so the network can be detected)Nova > Settings > Networks > Add Network > Add network manually > Enter wss address :
wss://rpc.remappedprotocol.org

  2. A QR code will appear. Open Nova Wallet on your phone.
  3. In Nova Wallet, go to WalletConnect → New connection, then scan the QR code.

This is the recommended option for most users (simple and works great on mobile).
